Differences between our MP Computer
and PC controls for engine dynamometers
Usual dynamometer control equipment of today is based on PC technology.
Our dynamometer control equipment is based on our MP Computer.
We have built our first MP Computer in 1980.
Its technology is substantially different from PC technology:
- The MP Computer is a microprocessor control in a solid industrial case.
- It is not cooled by ambient air.
- There are no areas of extreme thermal stress as usual in PCs.
- There are no rotating memory media.
- The MP Computer’s operating software is developed by us and free from foreign contribution.
So it does not depend on foreign product policy or on currently available PC hardware
and software.
- It is memorized in an EPROM. So it cannot be attacked from outside.
